Management, Programming, Air-Staff Changes At iHeart Texas. – Inside Radio

Several changes at iHeartMedia stations in Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin as Dallas Region President Kelly Kibler exits after 25 years with the company and Matt Martin, President of the company’s San Antonio and Austin markets, departs after nearly 30 years with the group.
The three markets will now be overseen by Detroit Region President Paul Corvino.
Kibler has been in the lead role in Dallas since 2011 and previously served as Executive VP of Operations for Texas Major Markets and Executive VP/Multicultural Marketing. She also served as Las Vegas Market President from 2002-2004 and as San Diego Market President from 2004-2005.
Martin started with iHeartMedia as an account executive while still in college. His previous roles within the company include President of the Central Division, overseeing its sales operations, and Senior VP of Operations for iHeartMedia’s West Region.
In related news, Don Davis PD of rock “97.1 The Eagle” KEGL and classic hits “Lonestar 92.5” KZPS Dallas has resigned. He was named PD of KZPS in 2008 and subsequently added oversight of KEGL. His previous program experience includes roles at the former WFYV Jacksonville, KHYT Tucson (107.5), and WIOT Toledo (104.7).
Also, at KEGL, Dan O’Malley and Alfie Coy, hosts of “The Treehouse” (5-7pm) exit. The duo was part of the former program hosted by Russ Martin, who passed away in February 2021.
