CMG Ups Programmers Brennan And Kesneck In Tampa. – Inside Radio

Cox Media Group Tampa has promoted two of its content leaders.
John Brennan, Director of Branding and Programming for talk “102.5 The Bone” WHPT and classic rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL, moves up to Operations Director, overseeing content strategy for all six CMG Tampa stations, including adult contemporary “Magic 94.9” WWRM, soft AC WDUV, CHR “Hot 101.5” WPOI and modern/alternative “97X” (WWRM-HD2, WPOI-HD2 and translator W248CA).
In addition, Jenna Kesneck, Director of Branding and Programming for 97X and modern rock/alternative “X106.5” WXXJ Jacksonville, adds overseeing programming for WDUV.
Brennan joined CMG in 2004 and became Content Lead for WHPT in 2014, adding WXGL in 2019. Kesneck began her career with CMG in 2011 as Account Manager, eventually moving to Assistant Program Director, then to 97X Content Lead in 2019.
“John and Jenna are both proven leaders in Tampa with track records of building outstanding radio brands,” CMG VP of Audience and Operations Chris Eagan says. “I’m excited to watch them apply their creativity and tenaciously competitive attitudes to their new roles.”
